Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his
companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence,
him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys!
make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King! Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!
Perhaps most widely known in America
from its use in the movie V for Vendetta, versions of the above
poem have been wide spread in England for centuries. They celebrate
the foiling of (Catholic) Guy Fawkes's attempt to blow up (Protestant
controlled) England's House of Parliament on November 5th, 1605.
Known variously as Guy Fawkes Day, Gunpowder Treason Day, and
Fireworks Night, the November 5th celebrations in some time periods
included the burning of the Pope or Guy Fawkes in effigy.

THE PLOT:
At a secluded Hyde-away ;-) a group of bankers
plan the downfall
of the anti-hero who is the new icon for a populist uprising.
The corrupt financiers direct their favorite puppet author, J.F.K.
Hogwash,
to write a defamatory biography on the masked super hero....
known to many as Guy Fawkes.
Of course, Guy Fawkes and
his conspirators were
"Arrested and Tortured, Hung Drawn and Quartered"
over 400 years ago but now it appears, Guy Fawkes is back,
to wreak vengeance on those who besmirch his name
... no matter how trivial their denigration.
It has not gone unnoticed
by Guy Fawkes that his most vociferous
traducers are nothing more than provocative provocateurs and
so he
finds the perfect way to punish them for their verbal transgressions..jpg)
In Part One,
a group of bankers had directed J.F.K. Hogwash,
to write a defamatory biography on
the masked super hero known to many as Guy Fawkes.
The book is selling well and the bankers hold another meeting
at
their secret retreat near the Alpen town of Sovad.
However, their meeting is rudely interrupted by the shocking
news
that JFK Hogwash has been found murdered
The bankers fear they may have awoken a deadly foe,
as someone is going about punishing anyone
who speaks badly of him....
The box set includes
an extra scene:
New Teraz Star
Michel Black is reading Ms Hogwash's book,
which denigrates Guy Fawkes just as the protagonist walks
upon the scene and asks what she thinks of the
gun powder plotter? Her reply
" He was a bastard!" Wrong answer...
